About Me
Hi, my name is Alanna. I live in sunny Perth, Australia with my dear husband, two darling sons and lilac ragdoll cat, Nalah. I love pottering, coffee and getting all warm and cosy with my crochet hook on a cold winters day. (Yes! - we honestly do have cold wintery days here in sunny Perth).
I have a background in architecture and interior design, but in recent years, I caught the amigurumi bug....BIG TIME!

I have been crocheting since I was a small girl, when my Grandma and Mum taught me how to crochet motifs and granny squares. Blankets really became the extent of my crochet repertoire, where I would tirelessly work upon these projects, often putting them aside for months at a time due to their repetitive, sometimes mundane, nature. Then, on one fateful day, I discovered the Japanese art of amigurumi. I became instantly fascinated, watching YouTube tutorial after YouTube tutorial, until I finally perfected the art. And not once did I put the projects down for longer than a few nights. If I could sit there crocheting all day long, day after day, I most definitely would!
Designing and sharing my own patterns was a very natural progression and so was born, Theodore and Rose. My little hobby business that has become a labour of love. I hope you enjoy making my creations, just as much as I enjoy creating them for you.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
